Covent Garden Market is one of London’s must visit shopping/entertainment and cultural areas for all visitors.
Sitting between Charing Cross and Drury Lane, it’s a shopping area where you don’t even need to shop, just enjoy the sights, sounds, atmosphere and historic ambiance…and maybe a couple of drinks.

Three markets within the Piazza sell all manner of foods, crafts and gifts. Don’t be fooled by the name of The Apple Market. This is in the North Hall of the Marketing Building and purveys little to no fruit. It sells British made crafts, jewellery and leather goods amongst other things, including a good number of curios and oddities.
Artwork, homeware, soaps and perfumes and even a magicians stall.
There is the East Colonnade Market where you’ll find artwork, homeware, soaps and perfumes and even a magicians stall. The Jubilee Market in The South Piazza changes its wares on a daily basis. Monday – antiques. Tues- Fri – a general market including clothes and household goods Sat-Sun – arts and crafts Trading at Covent Garden can be traced back to the 6th century and shows no sign of slowing down 1,500 years later…
